Garden International School is a British-curriculum international school in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, serving students from Early Years (age 3) through to Sixth Form (age 18). Founded in 1951, it is the biggest private co-educational international school in Malaysia, offering the English National Curriculum, IGCSE and A-Level with strong university progression.
Annual tuition for 2026/27 ranges from RM52,440 (Nursery) to RM126,870 (Years 10–13), invoiced across three terms. Reception is RM62,340 and Primary (Years 1–6) ranges from RM85,590 to RM102,300. Students on the English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme in Years 7–9 pay up to RM140,670. A one-off Registration Fee applies (RM10,000 for Nursery/Reception, RM20,000 for Years 1–13) along with a non-refundable Application Fee of RM1,590 (incl. 6% SST) and a refundable Deposit. From 1 July 2025, a 6% Service Tax (SST) applies to annual fees exceeding RM60,000 per student. Uniforms, transport, meals, co-curricular activities, trips and exam fees are charged separately.
Families begin by enquiring via the GIS admissions team (contact-admissions) and submitting an online application through apply.gardenschool.edu.my, accompanied by the non-refundable Application Fee. Places are confirmed on receipt of a Letter of Offer and payment of the Registration Fee and Deposit. The Early Years Centre offers flexible enrolment options for Pre-Nursery and Nursery.
