Frequently asked questions
What is ESG Featured School status?
Featured School status is an editorial recognition awarded by ExpatSchoolGuide to selected schools. Featured schools receive enhanced visibility in city and country listings, a Featured badge on their ExpatSchoolGuide profile, and an official badge they can display on their own website.
How can a school become an ESG Featured School?
Featured School status is offered by invitation. ExpatSchoolGuide selects non-profit international schools in major cities and invites them directly. An invited school accepts by contacting ExpatSchoolGuide and installing the official Featured School badge on its own website.
Does Featured School status cost anything?
No. Featured School status is completely free. There is no listing fee, subscription, commission or advertising charge.
How long does Featured School status last?
Featured School status is granted for life, provided the school continues to meet the basic eligibility requirement: the official Featured School badge remains installed and linking to the school's ExpatSchoolGuide profile.
What does a school need to do to receive Featured status?
One thing only: place the official Featured School badge on its own website, linked to its ExpatSchoolGuide profile page. No payment, contract or data sharing is required.
Why does the badge need to link back to the ESG profile?
The link makes the recognition verifiable. Parents who see the badge on the school website can click through to the school's independent ExpatSchoolGuide profile, which confirms the Featured status is genuine.
